Bookmatching - 6 replies Throughout my looking at different peoples work I see some gorgeous bookmatching. I think this makes wonderful looking pieces. My question is how do you bookmatch. I have thought that you would have to resaw the lumber to thin 1/16th or 1/8” almost like a veneer. Is this correct or is there some other process to do this. Thanks in advance |

Anyone in Kansas - 12 replies I am in Kansas and am fairly new to furniture building. I have been doing hardwood floors for a few years and have done a couple pieces of furniture throughout the last six months. I am wondering where you guys get your exotic woods and other unique dimensional lumber. If I could find something local it would be great. Thanks in Advance |
