Hey everybody just giving you an update on shop progress. Got my electric turned on today. YEAH I now have lights and the ability to run my tools. I still am unpacking some of the tools and trying to determine how I want the shop layed out. Nothing seems to work where I put it. I may just have to settle for now and work in there for a while to get a better feel of how I want the work to progress so I lay it out properly. Oh Well at least I now have lights. until next time. Any comments or suggestions on work flow is welcome.

sounds great…I think the idea to set up…see how it feels and then change things as you go is a good idea…especially if you can run tools in a non-permanent set-up…
post some picts when you get a chance…

I still remember the feeling of turning on the power on my shop the first time.
It’s pretty great, huh?

Outstanding!... as for the shop set up, use mobile bases. That way you can keep moving things around until you find a comfortable flow. For me, its a contant battle trying to get the flow right. Still working on it. Every time I get a new tool the battle begins again. I look forward to seeing how you have set things up and what projects you put out.

The worst of it is is that none of us can say, “Do it this way,” because it is all subject to your methods of work. It’s a workflow thang…
