Just thought I would share my work in progress with the rest of you. I have my shop in the third car bay and do not intend to park a car there. I have finished the built-in workbench and the cabinets but need to finish the face frames and doors to the wall cabinets. After that I will start the roll around cabinets to go under the workbench. As you can see I subscribe to some of the woodworking mags to get ideas for space saving ideas and portable tools such as my miter station. Very Handy! I have also built my router table and radial arm saw into the stationery workbench. I just traded in my contractors saw for a Unisaw last year and What a difference!. I finally bought a Forrest blade and will never go back. The builder installed a 100 amp box just for my tools so I will add circuits along the wall. Right now there are about 8 – 4 foot double lights but I will add another 8 at the end. I put a deadline to finish by summer and will update photos at that time. Thanks for looking!

Very nice shop. I like the careful plannig and use of space.
Your going to enjoy working there for some time to come.

I really like your shop. Organized and clean, and a great layout. I would love to have the two-car garage set-up some day. Nice.

I only cleaned it to take pictures. You would not like to see it in the middle of a project.

I’m actually in the middle of a project but have come to a point that I need to make some glued up flat panels for the front door and the top. This project is simple compared to some that I have seen on the projects page of this web sight. I am a little shy about that but I will take photos and post my first project.

This is a nice looking shop. You have some really nice shop furniture and tool stands.

Nice shop printman, like the tool stands especially the mitre saw stand. Did you build that from a plan or your own design? If a plan would you mind sharing? By the way, don’t ever think your projects don’t match up to what else you see here. Just think of the millions out there that don’t have any skills at all to do what we do :)

Thanks for the reply, let me know what you find out on that plan. I have seen a lot of styles but that one looks liek it would world good in a shop my size.
