I have a question about breadboard ends on a primitive harvest table. My shop tools are limitied so before I purchase more router bits that I may not need at this time I need to ask a few questions. I saw where some were screwing the breadboards to the table top ends. I understand about the movement of the wood. I just need to know if when you use the screw mwthod if you still need to put a tounge and grove type connection or could they just be flush?
I have been building primitive pine furniture with easy cuts and mostly nailed, glued and screwed peices. My shop is a table saw, routed and miter saw.
Thank you. Noel.
