Well my friends, here it is almost the middle of january, and we have had some snow. but nothing like we usually get. but we got rain!!! and i have a small lake in my front yard.

ready to built me an ark.lol.

have posted my newest draft horse picture. like this one better then the last one.

now on to #4. but first am carving a small running bear. based on one of the Bishops roughtouts.
they have some great roughtouts if you like to carve that way. i do. but you know that stuff you call money? does not let me do what i want sometimes.

so what are all of you nice people going to do this year? i hope to get more carvings done so i can fill up my back room with them.

and hope to get to travel som e this summer. lots of places i want to go and see. and so many friends to meet for the first time.

and i am planning on cleaning up my work area. so i can find my table. and i do believe there is a floor there some where. i know there is i am standing on something.

well you all take care. be careful in snow if you have it watch out for ice is cold. and all you people in the sunny south. send some of that sunshine north. please.

nite all.

I’m even farther north (Ontario, Canada) and no snow here either and we, too, have lots and lots of rain.

Your artistry skills and works of art are amazing. I’ll definitely be checking out your pyro. to get some ideas on “how to”. I’ve only done one project so far, which indicates what my plans are for 2007: practice woodburning. I also want to make a box. Just a box. Any kind of box. And from there, one box will lead to another which will lead to another. Oh, and I want to make a wooden spoon. Yup, that’s it: woodburning, boxes, and a spoon. Might take me the entire year, but that’s my plan.

Oh, and if all this rain had been snow—we’d be neck-high in it!!!

Hi Pat;
Ha! I liked what you said here; ”i have a small lake in my front yard….ready to built me an ark.lol.” Yes, I have one of those lakes out front also and its only been over the last couple of days that the lake has frozen. Here it is January and if I wanted to go canoeing, I could have put a canoe in out there, sat a while and then let my dreams go to…..!

GODSPEED,
Frank
