ozzy's Workshop

This is my workshop that I put together back in 2002-2003. As you can see I have the full Ridgid line of shop tools. These, along with the majority of tools, I bought at Home Depot at reduced prices, either because they were reconditioned or there was a damaged packaging on the box, or was returned by a customer and was sold at a reduced price. I have to tell you that I turned out some really good stuff with these tools. Back then they offered a 100% lifetime guarantee on all of the Ridgid stuff so I didn’t feel I could go wrong. As you look at the wall, you will notice that most of the tools are in some type of wooden bracket keeping them organized. I made these myself rather than purchase sometihing that wouldn’t fit the tool. The shop was an old storage building that was about 1700 sq. ft. I wish I had it now. Unfortunately, in December of 2003 I went to work in Iraq. Not knowing when I would be back and rather than let the stationary tools gather rust in a storage unit I sold them to a good friend of mine who was also a woodworker. He is still using them today. I returned back from Iraq last July, 2006, and started building my tool inventory back up. God willing, I will complete my shop this next spring. I will post the new pictures as i get the equipment. Sorry about the terrible quality of the pictures. Beleive it or not these were taken with Pen Cam that I bought at Wal-mart at that time. Cost: $9.95. Priceless.
