i guess i was 9 when we moved across the street from Pop's
a retired german pipefitter who enjoyed life and tools both of which he used to create things or ideals. countless hours id spend working on a bike or cart mabey even just watching him thread the obsure pipe for what seemed for no other reason than to be set of to the side of the vise still to be there two months later...... but as far as sharing with me the love of a good hand tool man i got that lesson ...
all for which seemed to be laying in wait untill i got old enough to slow down and BAM there was Wood and there is so much of it! so what if i made a mistake ,grab another piece and go at it again .how cool is that
well i aint telling you guys nothin .... this is one more cool site
i started my shop 10 yrs ago converting a goat barn into home for a radial arm saw and a beat up craftsman contractors portable table saw that you had to pull of the front and back of the blade to ensure the fence was straight for every set oh those were the days ....
well all i can say is that im hooked..... my tools are more trustwothy and much more in number and ive found out i have an allergic reaction to to african mohogany ... life's pretty good

Well, I’ll be dipped! I see you finally made it to the Lumberjocks. I have been waiting for you. I knew you would like it when I first saw your work. Wow, you are really talented. There is a lot of talent here at LJ, and they are not secretive or crabbish about giving constructive help. Welcome ! What does your shop look like? You can see more of mine on my website.
P.S. Julie is impressed too.
