Well all I’ve done so far is gluing up and cutting the boards. You can see that they’re not joined yet! But yeah, it feels good to do a project that comes together so quickly – not like my wife’s box!

Eric – shouldn’t the legs of a step stool be angled? I always thought if they were straight up and down that that creates a tipping hazard. Just a thought.

After doing a project search on step stools here on LumberJocks, I see what you mean. Yeah, that would probably be a good idea. Maybe I’ll glue another board onto each leg, and then cut it down appropriately.
Of course, I may go the lazy way and just plow ahead. We’ll see how motivated I am the next time I’m in the shop.
