I found a retailer which can send us Festool items. I thought I could get Festools again finally.
But that shop will never receive my PayPal account because of type of my PayPal account . Though they require confirmed address, we Japanese can’t have it through PayPal. Dead-end again.
But I couldn’t give up, so I approached again and that shop allowed me to trade through bank wire transfer. ——that was fantastic!
But again I researched about international bank wire transfer on the internet, it seems to be very complicated.
Firstable , I must pay handling charge to Japanese bank. That will be at least $30. And apparently intermidiate agent will get a secondary handling fee—that will be from $10 to $20. At the end receiving commission is required by receiveing bank—that will be about $10. And last two handling charge is unknown to Japanese bank, they will withdraw their comission from the total amount. So I can’t know how much I must pay at first. And we can’t do it on the internet yet !——very old-fashioned way isn’t it ?

Of course I have both of them. But some retailers don’t accept Japanese credit card. Although most of them can receive it. International trading is very difficult.

A credit card should be a credit card. I have used mine in many countries including Japan.
I have used it in person and via the internet.

You might check into ING.com – they are an internet bank. You might also try bank of america:

How about calling a japanese tool dealer here in the states to find out if the have any good advice…

Wow. I do international wire transfers often. Usually costs $12.
Easiest if you can find a common bank. Such as ING. Many banks have correspondent banks in the country you want to deal with and transfers are much easier.
Just goes to show the differences in international businesses.
