I have great news for you if you’re using one of the popular personalized homepage services, Netvibes or iGoogle. With the following two new widgets you can easily add the latest LumberJocks content to your home/start page:
LumberJocks At Glance Widget (screenshot)
Woodworking Projects Widget (screenshot)
Click on the pictures above for details and subscription options.
These widgets work even on the Apple Dashboard and I have also prepared website compatible versions – you can find copy-paste code on the revamped LumberJocks Widgets&Badges page.
It’s time to integrate LumberJocks into your daily Internet life.
Next major feature coming? LumberJocks Groups ;)
Enjoy!

Looks great Martin! The flash component is slick…
Just added to the home page on www.awlfreeplans.com
:-)
Keep up the great work!

Just tested the flash module in I.E. doesn’t seem to be working… it errors out with “Cannot Connect To Feed,” or “No Articles Found In Feed” this occurs on both your widgets & badges page and www.awlfreeplans.com
FireFox works like a champ though :-)

Always on the bleeding edge, Martin! It works great. Both IE 7 on XP and my Mac Dashboard too.

Mark D, I think you just have to embed the code on awlfreeplans and it should work.

Tom, The code is embedded correctly on www.awlfreeplans.com . It works with FireFox but there appears to be a compatibility issue with Internet Explorer(at least v. 6.0.29) where it is not properly connecting to the feed. I know I embeded the code properly because the flash widget exhibits the same behavior on lumberjocks.com widgets & badges
After doing a little research it appears that FeedBurner made an update to their service that might be causing issues, I have sent a PM to Martin regarding this issue.

Hey Mark, did you try one of the non-flash widgets? I will check that Feedburner+IE issue. Thanks.

I have had widgets from Lumberjocks since I joined, I found them at widgetbox, they are on my blog. I have 3 of them, they are
Forum Topics, Projects and blogs. They are copy and paste, also they will place for you. Works in I.E. and Firefox. But you can never have too many, Right? Right!
PEACE!!!
