Few days ago, I decided to update the LumberJocks look. The header was becoming too busy with all the navigation links and that was the main motivator. And I wanted bolder and visually more appealing page titles as well.
After playing in the graphic design program and adjusting the code I ended up with the following new look and updates:

- Tabbed navigation with the highlighted current section
- All of the “my home, my…” links moved to just one drop-down menu that appears after clicking on the My LumberJocks button
- What’s Hot widget promoting the latest news (former announcements)
- Search bar displayed at the top
- Inverted colors on the main page title
Here’s the screenshot of the expanded MY navigation:

I didn’t touch the design of the content elements at all so you should get used to this new look easily ;)
Enjoy!

Note that if the pages look messed up you should try “hard refresh” of the pages to reload all of the adjusted images and styles. On Windows it’s Ctrl+F5

I can’t seem to get back to my home page from any of the other pages like I was before. Has that been removed? I like the tabs though.

Thanks, Martin. I was having some “messed up-ness” which cleared up with a reload (⌘R /Cmd R on the Mac in Firefox). It’s all clean and beautiful now.

Help me out if I am doing something wrong, the same day as the new look came out I can not log on. The site will almost finish loading then I get kicked off the web. I can come in the back door through google and onto a blog to navigate around. However if I try to go to the home page or the home page of another jock I get kicked off. Same experience on Garden Tenders, however the new look is not on that site yet. I can go to other sites on the web Craigs list ebay etc… no problem. I am using a Mac G4 OS X 10, 10.4 operating system. Please help I would like to use the front door.
P.S. I just tried what Douglas suggest on his Mac with the apple symbol and R, I am not computer literate, had to check the spelling on literate, I will kiss the person who developed spell check.
Thanks Ron

Martin I just joined this site and I want to tell you that this site ROCKS! It is by far the best website I have even been a part of in all the ten years I have been on line. The design is beautiful and very nice to look at and navigate. I only wish more sites were like this one! Thank you for all you work.
