sketchup question

i just downloaded the sketchup program, i got that plus something called layout as well the layout thing expires in 460 minutes or somthing . is that a separate program or a part of sketchup ?

It’s separate, used for doing presentations I think. Don’t worry about it.

Layout is a new feature of Sketchup pro. It allows you to create pages with title blocks and borders for presentation. You import your drawings into the layout, and you can annotate, scale rotate change perspective etc. You downloaded the full version of Sketchup, that has layout and some other features only found in the pro version and those features will expire in the 460 minutes. After that it defaults to be Google SU, essentially the same program just without the pro features. You can download just the free version if you didn’t want to try out the pro features. The benefit to doing it the way you did is if you decide to purchase the application then all you have to do is input the auth code they give you at purchase and it unlocks the pro features.
