Chambersburg, PA 17201
United States
My inner sanctum (aka the dusty old basement). It occupies about half of the total space- all my wife will permit. Machines are set at odd angles and elevations to allow working with 8 to 9 foot long material. Also, my back gives me fits if I stand bent over for too long. Because space is tight, I have my drafting board attached to the ceiling and it swings down for use (Saw pix). The basement does not have an outside entrance so projects are now carefully planned (obvious by the molding around the center of our china corner cupboard).

Looks like a nice tight little shop. Reminds me of my garage shop.

Lew,
This is a nice shop. You have maximized your use of space by going vertical. Good idea.
Thanks for the post.
