Have you ever had a week that you could redo???
Last week-Dryer tensioner pully went out
Saturday- Just after we get home from picking up the dryer at the repair shop Ian knocks a half case of gatorade off shelf and it lands on hotwater heater and bust a pipe.
Notice the messy but effective repair
Monday- Went out to car to head to work and battery dead. Hooked up the battery charger and went back in house. 15-20 minutes later I heard something outside and looked out window to find car on fire.
Can I go back to bed yet???????/

I have had weeks like that. I believe He was trying to get my attention. I will add you to my prayers.

I guess you know what your next woodworking project will be – a car! Chamfer the front real good for better aerodynamics, hardwood bumpers but softwood seats, inlayed pinstriping.
Of course, it would have to be a Flintstone car. An engine in one of those is a bonfire waiting to happen!

WOW…TOUGH WEEK. But look at the bright side: No loved one’s got hurt and there does not appear to be any damage to “The Shop”. Good luck recovering from the events. By the way, did you have to call out your friends from the Firehouse? I’m sure this will be a topic of discussion around the station for a while.

Well that was rough, but looking at the bright side – the car wasn’t parked in the garage.

You have my sympathies that was a tough situation. But no one was hurt or injured and, as Bill said, the car was outside. Rough week, sure, but material things can be replaced. Just be thankful that no one was hurt.
Thanks for sharing.

Sheesh, those weeks are tough. Go buy a lotto ticket, it might just be the turnaround and the end of a really crazy story.

How does the song go? “Sometimes you’re the windshield, sometimes you’re the bug.” I am having a bad woodworking week, but I think most of it is because I am in a rush to get through with this bunk bed project and get started on the playground.
Look on the bright side, things tend to happen in threes, and the car was number three. Maybe you will be safe for a while.
I hope the rest of your week has been going better.

I’m sorry to hear about your car and run of bad luck. You never mentioned the battery charger is it OK?
A couple weeks ago my wife was in an accident, I was directly behind her in one of our trucks and watched it all happen. A semi hit her on the side front wheel well, she bumped her head thats it, totaled the truck. I’m glade no one was hurt.

Brad that is not funny, the luck we have been happening the space station may just fall on our house!!!! I used to want to park the car in the garage but my husband turned it into a woodworking shop instead, boy am I so glad!!!! You couldn’t pay me enough money to park a car near the garage now. We should find out today what the insurance company says. We appreciate all the prayers and please continue to keep us in your prayers.
-- Please bless me in woodworking, Adrian is my husband and teacher!!!

WOW that is a bad day that got worst – Sorry! If it was not so serious it would be funny- glad you kept your wit about you!
I think we all can relate to having a bad day that gets worse and sometimes goes beyond worse. When you hit the pillow that night your only thought is ” Glad this one is over”, and if you are having a really bad day, you then need to get up and use the john!
Here is to everyone that has had that “bad day” – always need perspective to make it seem right!
