Bob's Projects #1: Bifold Doors & Table

no previous part Part 1 of Bob's Projects series no next part

This is a followup on my first project. I finally finished the first set of doors on New Years Eve, but before that I built a table for our little granddaughter. It is about 22 inches high with a diameter of 36 inches.

The second set of doors are waiting for me to insulate the shop, so I can afford to heat it. Our last electric bill was off the charts. To conserve electricity, I took a friends’ advice and created a tent to dry the panels in. Here are some pictures. Oh! When all is said and done the header will be recessed, so the trim I have made will fit flush with the wall, while hiding the track.

Hi Rikkor,

I was just entering your info and Tim’s info into my computer and then I was going to thank the two of you for all your help. Your comment was just in time, because I didn’t have the correct spelling of your nickname. Thanks again and have a great day.

Thanks Bob and Karson. Yes I was having fun until the freezing weather hit! Hope to be back out there as soon as it warms up and I get some insulation and heat out there.

Nice work Bob – I like the table and the doors. I can’t imagine how it must be living in those cold climates. It’s in the 40s here in the daytime and I find it too cold to go into the shop – go ahead and laugh if you want to, but us Southern boys don’t handle the cold too well, except Bret Farve and Eli Manning.

It is all what we are used to. We are not supposed to see the 40s until Sun or Mon. Thanks for the kudos.

Have a great day,
