I have a question

level the outfeed table with the blades at top dead center. In other words bring the outfeed table up to that level. Snipe is usually caused by the outfeed table being too low.

Another cause could be that you are pressing down on the last end of the board. You should have all your pressure on the outfeed table.

Also, make sure that you are jointing with the grain. i.e. the grain should show from upper left to lower right, as much as possible.

-- No piece is cut too short. It was meant for a smaller project.
