Thanks for the welcome all. I’m new to this forum and haven’t got into the habit of checking it yet.
To introduce myself, I’m approaching my mid-fifties. OK, I’m 53. I built my dream garage in 1999/2000 with a medium size shop upstairs. It has heating and a nice window air conditioner so I can work year round. I’ve built quilt racks, an entertainment center, bookcase headboard, all new kitchen cabinets and recently finished a morris chair and ottoman for myself and a kitchen table for my mom for Christmas.
I work mostly in red oak but made my chair from beautiful QS white oak that I fumed with ammonia (a new experience I highly recommend).
I’ll share some projects photos soon. Bear with me in the crazy Christmas season.
