My shop is in my basement which fortunately has a 5 foot wide walkout entry and I am able to get my truck fairly close for bring materials in and bigger projects out. I currently have a 6” Grizzly jointer, a 12 ” planer that was manufactured in China but seems to work OK for the price that I paid. I have a craftsman table saw that I upgraded a few years ago from one that I had for 25 years. I have my Dad’s 40 year old Black and Decker radial arm sam, which still works well for cross cutting and dados! My shop is in a bit of dis-array right now as I am working on finishing my nieces basement, and am hauling tools back and forth to her house. And my miter saw is disassembled because I have some kind of vibration problem with it.

I will post some pictures when I get it cleaned up a little!

Hi John,

It sounds as if you have an interesting shop. How about posting some pictures so that the shop junkies, like myself, can visit?

No pictures yet, but I have added a couple of tools to the shop! I picked up a craftsman 12” bandsaw and a craftsman 12” lathe, both in good used condition, but both appear to be running just fine so far. Hopefully I will be able to spend some time in the shop soon as business travel has kept me away.
