After a long time of being latheless I finally found a control module, thanks to Karson, for 159.00 dollars to replace the factory module that is no longer made, stocked, stored, or to be found, in the US or Canada, to fit my Delta model 46-765X lathe. It’s been close to a year that I’ve been looking and following leads, looking for a factory replacement for my lathe. There was’nt one to be found. Karson, had given me a couple of sources of replacement parts that he said would probably work. But me not knowing an ac from a dc never bothered to follow up on the leads. Finally I contacted the place that had checked out my module to begin with and told me it was fried, said bring in the printed out web sites I had and he would take a look. He called me this morning and said he found a control module for 159.00 and I told him to order and hook it up to the motor. Man I’m as happy as a puppy with 2 you know whats. So it won’t be long and I’ll feel whole again. But like the wifey says, moderation, hubby, moderation. Cause she knows I’ll be on that thing from am to pm if I don’t whatch it.. Man I got to get my chisels sharpened and the shop cleaned up. So I can make shaving once more….. I’m in heaven…..
Thanks Karson! mike

Woo hoo!!! I am excited for you as well, Mike. I have one of these on my wish list and can well understand the “addiction” that they cause. Now that you are going to up and turning I am looking forward to seeing some posts from you. But your wife is an intelligent woman so please, moderation, my friend.
Have fun and keep on turnin’.

My pulse increased just reading your blog. I am so excited for you. By the way, if a dog has two, what is moderation?

Mike You are welcome. I didn’t want to keep bugging you about your lathe. But I was tempted to call you many time and say “What’s up”.
