I will soon be able to again make shavings and I just got my bandsaw fixed

A couple reasons I haven’t been able to make anything lately, aside from being short on blood, is two of my important tools took a dump on me. Actually three, but we won’t talk about that. Luckily one was under contract with sears and they honored it gracefully, my band saw, and 2. I must have the luck of the Irish because my Delta 46-765X, 16 inch variable speed lathe died on me, or at least the control module did. The module is no longer manufactured or in stock by Delta or PortaCable it’s parent company anymore. I took my kaput module to a local tool supply house that I’ve previously done business with and they called me today to tell me I was out of luck, no one stocked them, worked on them or had them in stock,” However,”they called a friend of theirs in California that just happened to have a new, in the box, unit, I could have for 200.00 bucks. Well I’ll tell you I have’nt had such good news since I was told I had ED from low testesterone and not cancer. So soon I’ll be makin chips fly with abandon again. God Bless you all for the prayers, and what ever else you did. I love you lumberjocks. mike

Glad to hear your saw is back in order and hopefully your lathe will follow shortly. What is next on your project list?

Mike sometimes you have to talk to the right people at Sears. If you ever need any phone numbers let me know.

Back on track my man. Take care of yourself Mike and keep tell us about them flying chips!
