I am a disabled/retired heavy truck and equipment mechanic. My great grandfather was a boilermaker for the Railroad in La Junta Colorado, My Father was a Chevy mechanic for 25years + in Canon City Colorado. I guess I just started out fixing things and have continued. Now that I am disabled I am looking for things to keep me busy since I can finally get around a little bit. I have had 4 back surgeries since my injury in in Antarctica. (yes the one at the bottom of the planet!) Right now I have an old table saw that my father had, though old it still will sure chop up the wood when I can work it. I haven't worked with it much since 2003 but I hope to again in the coming years. I would love to build a complete wood shop and a machine shop. I have experience in both, so I love to tinker I guess! What is the old saying... Jack of all trades, but a master at none... well I am a master at 1!
