OK folks, the box is moving right along…

The package is in Trifern's hands now… hmm, wonder what he’ll add to the treasure chest?

Hey Everyone,

Lots of interest from folks wanting to get in on the next round, the swap is proving quite popluar! Anyone that’s interested just keep your eyes on this blog for updates. We’ll update round 2 and give some notice of when round 3 might start.

If we get enough interest we may need to start a 2nd box moving.

Thanks everyone!

Tim

After seeing the latest post from netized, I think a special invitation should be extended!

Perhaps someone (I’d be happy to volunteer, if you like…) should do a quick project search for those LJs who have posted some pens so we can put some personalized invitations to participate out to the community.

I’ve been excited about getting involved in the swap since I came across it at the beginning of Round 2, which coincided with me joining LJs. Since turning pens was my first introduction to woodworking, how could I have resisted participating in this?

If you need someone else to help with the logistics, or even starting a new package, let me know. I don’t want to steal your thunder on this, certainly, but I’d be happy to help if you want.

Thanks again for getting this going, and let me know if you need help. Feel free to PM me or email me directly at ryan dot tacy at gmail dot com.

The box of goodies is on its way again. I apologize for my tardiness in sending it along.

Actually it’s spalted oak I trimmed out of some firewood. It should turn a beautiful pen.
