Out fellow Jock and Pen Turner Nils tells me the box has made it to him in California! He’ll get us some pics soon of the bounty he received.

This is our final stop on this tour – after Nils it’s back to me in Georgia. We’re already prepping for Round 2 so keep it in mind if you’d like to join us.

Here’s our updated map, we’ve really done some travelling!

I’ve got it now, sitting on the kitchen table. I’ll be opening it in a little while, taking pictures of the mass of blanks that it seems to have acquired.

Here are the pictures of the giant box – I posted them over in my blog and Tim asked me to repost over here.

Actually, the box isn’t “giant” – but it’s jammed full, and pretty heavy.
The box - unopened
The first thing I find when I open it is Tim’s extensive instructions to the swappers.
Instructions
And then a sheet for each of us to fill in what we added and what we removed.
In-Out sheets for each swapper

The ream of paper!
Finally, after the ream of paper at the top, here are the blanks!

More blanks!
The box started with five blanks, five pens, and five pen kits. By the time I got it, it still has five pen kits, but nine pens, and 42! blanks.
Nine pens!
I’ll be adding two pens to the box – a red and black acrylic cigar pen, and a very pretty Zebrawood Euro style.
Eight of the box's pens, plus the two I'm going to add

I hope to get the box ready to go back in the mail this weekend. I have a few chunks of wood I want to mill some pen blanks out of to add to the box. If I can accomplish that, we’ll be on the road.
