« Part 4: We're going international with this thing... Part 5 of Pen Turners' Swap series Part 6: The pen box is back in the USA! »

Hey Jocks,

I received quite a few emails during this leg of the trade, unfortunately it took a bit longer than anticipated for the box to make it to Relic in Nova Scotia, but it is there now and we are moving right along.

Here’s the latest map…

After Relic makes his trades the box is off to Rikkor in Minnesota and then wayyy over on the Left Coast to Nils in CA – then it’s back ‘home’ to Georgia. Looks like it will probably head off again since we already have a good interest in Round 2.

Hey Rikkor, if I read these threads correctly, you’ve been chomping at the bit waiting for these to head your way. I’m guessing the anticipation is at an all time high now. There is this image of a kid in a candy store that comes to mind. You’re next guy … The wait is almost over. Heck I’m having fun just watching.

It shouldn’t take too much longer. Nova Scotia is an hour ahead of the east coast.

Patience is golden—-just think all those pen blanks are more valuable as they have aged during the trip. Maybe we can get the Mounties to give them an escort to the border!

On to Minn. and then to the far west coast. Tim, by the time you get the box back you will need 3 mules and a cart to haul it to the house! Nice job with the pen trade thanks for organizing it.

Tim sorry for the delay. No i didn’t think to take any pictures, I guess the excitement got the best of me. The wood, kits and pens are awesome. I did swap a rosewood for a bloodwood and added a semi Birdseye maple and a pen made from a piece of maple from the yard. I also swapped out some of the blanks,(Karson is sitting on a gold mine of spectacular looking wood)also added a couple of cherry, zebra, and Canadian maple.

Just a quick update. It seems the package has been stuck in Quebec. Hopefully it will be moving again soon.
