Aloha, I'm a mom of two beautiful kids and have a wonderful supportive husband. We are station in Honolulu, Hawaii for the past 10 years. Pretty tough but someone's has to do it (lol). It a beautiful and wonderful island with rich culture from every direction and the local know the Aloha way.
My interest in wood working start as a teen but was dormant for a long time. I went to Honolulu Community College for the Carpentry program to test the waters. I was hooked on wanting to do more with building and start some wood working. I'm currently working on Hickam A.F.B in the wood shop. I'm proud we still have a oasis for the wood crafters for the men and women on base but since we are none appropriated fund we need to make production work for us and the shop. We mainly work with Koa (need I say more). I have a few project under my belt and a huge line of project just waiting to be reveled all in due time.
I'm happy to be part of Lj's family. I have been on the side lines long enough watching so many wonderful projects inspire me. And everyone is so willing to help and give answers (wow). Aloha, and
Mahalo

hello
I hope you enjoy our site.
You are very fortunate to have Koa to work with. I think it is the prettiest wood there is.
