Hi! everyone,
I just wanted to give you an update, on how the prayers and the medicines are working. The surgeon that put me on the medication to expand the arteries and blood vessels in my legs wanted me to start walking as far as possible once a week. To get an idea as to how the medication is working.
The first day that I started on the medication, I could make it one and two thirds trips at a fast pace, the length of my driveway before my legs just hurt so bad, I could hardly walk. One week later, I made it four trips, I could have done more but the wife said that we had to leave to go somewhere. I feel better at this time than I have in about 15 years. The feeling is fantastic. Please continue to hold me in your prayers as I will be doing the same for you.
As for the shop. I started packing it up in a pod for the up coming move. The new house is almost completed.
They are going to build me a 24’X 28’ shop. Just waiting on the surveyors to show up. Don’t want to build to close to the property line. When they get ready to start, I will take some photos and share them with all of you, here at LumberJocks.
I told my wife that I was going to make this shop functual and not spend a lot of time setting up a layout such as the one I have now. I would be dead before it could be completed. (LOL)
God bless all of you that have been praying for me and all who have shown their concern.

Gene,
This is the best news that I have had in a while. I am so glad to hear that you are doing better. I am excited for you about the shop and home as well.
I wish you all nothing but the best.

“He who puts his hope in the Lord will renew his strength” That’s great news, Gene! We’ll keep the prayers going, and the faith that you will make a complete recovery from this.

Recovery is slow at times but then with the grace of God you make great progress. My prayers are with you as I am in my 12 mo. of recovery from Liver Transplant surgery. I am pretty much back, I still get tired easily but getting better every day. So hang in there It will all come together for you.
Can’t wait to see your progress on your new shop. It is great to hear from people that have overcome severe illness through the grace of God and strong determination.
Thanks for the post.

Gene, my friend,
Your continued positive attitude is an inspiration to us all! The power of prayer and friendship is all healing- of course the doctors help a little.
Having a new shop to look forward to has got to be exciting for you and is providing yet another reason for a fast recovery.
Our prayers and good thoughts continue for you and your family.
