Grizzly G0452 Jointer Blade Clamp Screw - 11 replies I dug a bit deeper in the box of parts for the Reliant jointer I just bought, I guess I should have looked closer. One of the 1/4 – 28×0.267 long screws with a 5/16 domed hex head was MIA. I am pretty sure that one from another make would fit. I can find screws for delta and for jet but of course nobody gives size, thread or length. ... |

I would guess that it is in fair to good shape, but I suspect my father or someone had swapped parts around from a couple of different planes at some point. it is a #4 Stanley with a stage 7 bed, but has the RH threaded adjustment wheel of a stage 5. it is missing the... |

Stain Penetration Problems - 10 replies The thing I hate most with wood working is trying to match stains! It is far worse than herding cats. I am doing sample stains of several stains to try to figure out what I used on the woodwork in the dining room. I know many of you don’t like Minwax, but that is what I used when I did the room 20 years ago, now I have replaced a couple... |

Home Page - 9 replies One change that I might suggest would be to make the tabs (Home, Projects, Blogs, etc) across the top a bit more prominent – I sent a friend here twice and he thought it was a store from all the ads, he just didn’t see the tabs till I pointed them out . . . I will admit to have had a bit of a problem navigating at first my self . . ... |
