Finches and Forests of Wood
....so in a great big world inside my forest of wood,
where some folks have not enough time in their hands,
and other’s have too much time to be of any use for common good,
the thought flashed through my head this morning concerning finches....
forest of wood,
hands,
good,
finches....
Who feeds the finches….?
—-and do you even care?
I will let the images speak for themselves….since the selves-of-them speak images….

....and in a great big world before my forest of wood,
where many gathered for their hands,
and other’s opened up their hands for common good,
i said put me down as one who feeds the finches....

I can’t see the birds in the first picture, I’m sure there are some though.. Nice capture of the chickadees.

Hi Frank,
Reminds me…I need to pick up some seed. Not sure why but I seem to have many more birds than usual this year. Seed is going very quick.

Bob; yes, the birds are going through the seed up here also, an interest of note is that on top of the usual Evening Grosbeaks, the other morning we had a swarm of Rose-breasted Grosbeaks come through here. We also feed the birds plenty of suet, which is placed all around the house and yards….oh well.
