- Shop-built router table (Dewalt router)
- Pressurized sandblast pot various cordless tools, nailers,sprayers, sanders, routers, plate joiners, jigs, etc
I think I’m missing something…
Next major purchase(s)
Big ol Sandblast cabinet (maybe)??

Havent got that Big ol Sandblaster yet, but I have added a few new tools…
- Porter Cable 5HP air compressor w/ 60 gl tank
- Steel City Drill Press – something like 16 1/2”
- Home built CNC Router (4×4)
- 12” Ridgid sliding Compound Miter saw
- Ridgid MSUV (rolling Miter saw stand)
- Couple more routers (DeWalt and Freud)
I really need to get out the camera…

The CNC router is something I’ve been wanting to build for a couple of years, I recently had the opportunity to buy a prototype from a fellow who designs em and sells the plans.
It was built by a fellow down the road (just google for JoeCNC if you’re curious), he’s got quite a following on cnczone.com.
It’s pretty solid, built from 8020 channel aluminum and steel superstrut. It’s big.. the footprint is about 7 foot square. It’s got about 5” of vertical travel, and about 4 feet on the X and Y axis. There are 4 stepper motors total, 2 of them are slaved together to drive the Y axis.
The theory is that you design something using Vcarve pro or other software. This software also generates tool paths which are transmitted via serial connection to a motor controller.
I don’t have a clue how to make it work yet :-0, but it looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun.
