My workshop lives in a single garage. It’s separate from the house so the noise is manageable with the door closed. My wife calls it my cave :)

My tool collection is modest but growing at every opportunity. I have a solid workbench, a small collection of clamps (can you ever have enough?) and a very small array of hand tools. I have to admit, I rely heavily on my machines but am trying to develop my hand tool skills too.

I have a Triton table saw / router table combo, a 6’ planer, a 13” thicknesser, a sliding compound mitre saw, a drill press and a few sanders, grinders etc. I have a dovetail jig bolted to one of my benches and a stand alone router with a dovetail bit set up permanently (once you get everything perfect, you NEVER want to change a thing).

On my wishlist are: a serious dedicated table saw, a biscuit joiner, a band saw and some serious hand planes.

Hi John.

It sounds like you have a nice shop. Would you have any pictures that you could post?
