Another short Blog entry to post a concept sketch of a Barak Obama for President 2008 Walking Cane. This cane design has been inspired by several historical examples of Election and Political Figure “Bust Top” collector walking canes.
Disclaimer:
I am not attempting to make any type of Political Statement, or to purport that Obama is “my” candidate, with this cane design.
On the other hand, it looks like a fun one to carve, and I hope the project goes through for approval.
I have another design I’m working on the concept sketch for with an “Abraham Lincoln Bust Top” walking cane, and he’s deceased, and so that can not be determined as “politics”, just art. Ha.
thanks for looking,

I can’t wait to see this finished! Who do you need to get approval from?
