I still need alot of tools for my workshop and decided for my next purchase to be the Grizzly GO555X Bandsaw. With the reviews and accessories it appears to be a good buy. Has anyone purcased this saw and if so do they like it and what acc. is a must?

We have a review section on this site.

Look in the brown bar near the top of the screen. Click on “Reviews” and see if what you are looking for
is there.

You can find the review and comments there.

I have one and it has been great so far. This is the only bandsaw I’ve owned so I can’t really compare it to others. The only accessories I’ve bought are the riser block and a mobile base. I haven’t had a need for anything else yet.

Don’t own that bandsaw, but have a table saw and jointer from Grizzly that I am very happy with.
Look here in the review section, and Google for the reviews to see what you’ll be getting.

If you do decide on this model, would be interested in hearing your thoughts on it after
you’ve used it for a while. (I’m in the market for one myself)

I have this saw and I think it is great. It seems to have plenty of power even on 110V. You probably want the six inch riser block if you plan to do resawing. You may also want to get the Carter bearings if you are going to resaw a lot. Get a couple of blades to suit the different things you want to do on the saw. I give it two thumbs up.
