Your shop is coming along nicely! I like the pegboard. It makes for handy hanging storage for the most reached-for tools.

Nice shop. I couldn’t help noticing the Nicholson chisel set under your bench. I like chisels and I found the same set at my neighborhood Costco. There aren’t to many chisels that have the blade and tang running right up to the top of the handle. The old Stanley No. 40 chisels have that same feature however they have been discontinued for a while now. I think you’ll like the heft of those chisels.

Good workspace Chris.. I like the old Coca-Cola pop bottle on the table. It tasted soo much better in the glass bottles than the plastic ones..

Thanks for the recent comments on the shop guys. I need to put some new pics up here shortly as I am working on some wall cabinets to get some more organization going and have a few other ideas planned.

Karson, the chisels are out of the package and ready to go, I have used a couple of the smaller ones already. Honestly almost needed a chisel to get them out the packaging.
Bob, I found these at Costco and i liked the look of them. Hopefully they will hold up good.
Jamie, I have to agree with you on the Coke bottles and taste, I buy sodas in glass when ever I can. I am hoping with my new cabinets up I may display a few other bottles I have dug up in my daily travels. corse then there is that dust issue again.

Chris L. I’m glad to hear others find some good stuff at Costco. The only problem is one must act quickly because with tools when there gone there gone. Probably the best tool deal from Costco occured in the late 80’s. Costco was fairly new at that time being a membership store. I always cruise the tool isle and one day I noticed a chisel set that I had been admiring at my local hardware store. It was a set of 6 No. 40 Stanley chisels that cost around $160 at the hardware store. Costco had the same set for a mere $27.77 the set. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I bought a set and was afraid they had missmarked the price. Nope, correct price. So I bought 3 more sets. Big mistake, I should have bought more because by the end of the week they (the chisels) were gone, even at the other stores. Later, one of the mail order companies had the 1” and 3/4”chisels for sale for a pretty good price, though not as good as Costco. I formulated a theory Costco sold the sets so cheap. The mail order company said that they had purchased the discontinued chisels from Stanley, and bought all the remaining individual tools. Costco must have bought all the 6 chisel sets to relieve Stanley of their remaining inventory. Costco sold them at a small profit so they would move fast, and fast they did. At that time I thought that they would be there for a while. If any Lumberjock as a theory to the contrary, I’d like to know.
