I am a retired Mechanic, Legally Blind, and hating every minuet of retirement. I started woodworking again to calm my nerves and to keep me sane. I love making Adirondack Chairs and Tables. I have sold several of them around my area and to as far away as Allegheny, Pennsylvania. I am in the process of building a new tool for the shop. It's a Thickness Sander. Everything is on hold for now due to a recent surgery. I am married to my loving bride of 25 years and have 2 great kids. Lance R. 24 and Lindsey 20. I was a gear head with many toys but the toy I love the best is still my 1966 Dodge Charger. It's in my pictures some where. So I hope to be adding more info at a later date. Nice to be in here.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

Lance, Welcome aboard. Really nice shop built projects you have posted. Looking forward to seeing the thickness planer as that is one project I too should work on some time soon.
Have to agree with you about ShopNotes magazine, one of the best I have found and the only one I subscribed to.
