no previous part Part 1 of Home Improvements series no next part

I want to build a bench seat that incorporates a shoe box below the seat and pigeon holes above the seat. I am curious to see if any of the jocks have created similar projects and what kind of feedback/ advice you have going forward. Talk Soon.

Ditto what Deb said. Sounds like something great for a front entry or a dressing room.

I was thinking of making one like the older style hall tree bench. It has a bench to sit on (with storage), and then the back is about 6 ft tall or so. The sides have coat hangers, and maybe a mirror in the middle of the tall back. You could probably modify the bench to become a shoe holder instead.

I will have to see if I have a picture around of this.

Benches are great projects. Yours sounds like the back will have to be pretty tall. I’m getting ready to start a desk/bench/cabinet unit with pegs and a shelf instead of your pigeon holes.
