I have an old Wilton bandsaw – three wheel. The wheels are about 7-3/4” diameter. The tires are cracked and I am having trouble keeping blades from breaking.
I have read that small depth blades are better on three wheel saws because they are more flexible and can be tensioned more. Any thoughts on this?
Also, I cannot find tires for this small a wheel. Any sources?
Thanks for any help.

Captainhappy,
With regards to your bandsaw question it will get more reads if you post it as a forum issue rather than here on your homepage.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless

Welcome to Lumberjocks! It’s a great place with great people, and, oh yeah, there’s the woodworking! Have fun and keep safe! :)
btw – It would be best if you posted your question in one of the forums. You will more likely get an answer there than here on your homepage. ;)
