Hi all. Just a little info about myself.
My name is Cameron, i am 13 and live in Aberdeen Scotland. In school, we had to look up this website, and i was immediatley impressed and decided to try woodworking myself. Although some of my project wont be as breathtaking as the majority on this site, i still hope i will be able to get afew done!

Cameron, welcome to the forum and congratulations on the decision to enjoy woodworking!
Over time you will find that you can express yourself in many different ways through this craft.
Through the artistry, the use of mathmatics, or just to relieve stress like turning something on a lathe.
If you follow safety precautions you will never regret the choice to work with wood.
(between you and me…I’m not as talented as most of these people but I enjoy it tremendously):)

Hi Cameron,
Welcome again to the group. We have a number of younger LJs. who are producing some really nice projects so I am sure you will fit right in. Woodworking is a nice hobby that develops mental creativity and perseverance. It beats sitting in front of a television with an xbox in front of you.
I am looking forward to seeing some of your projects.
-- With God's help all things are possible- even woodworking. Woodworking is not just a hobby, it is an (expletive deleted) expensive hobby.

Welcome Cameron. The only thing more satisfying that building something is watching yourself get better as you learn more. This is a great place to learn everything you could want to know about woodworking.
-- If at first you don't succeed, try again. Then quit. No use being a darn fool about it.
