My shop is a 10’X22’ building in my backyard. I am so cramped for space that it isn’t funny – but I’m working on an addition that will almost double my square footage. I have been collecting tools and equipment for the past 20 years, thinking that when I finally retire (in less than 2 years!!!!) I will spend most of my time building things. I’ve assembled a pretty large selection of woodworking equipment – which leads to a new problem, I actually have too much equipment for my small shop. As soon as I can get things organized (presentable) I will post some pictures of my humble shop.

The major tools in my shop are:
Bosch 10 Table Saw
Performax 16-32 Drum Sander
Delta Dust Collector
Delta Planer
Delta Drill Press)
Jet 3 Speed Air Filtration
Makita 10” Compound Miter Saw
Grizzly 14 Ultimate Band Saw
Hawk 14 inch Scroll Saw
Nova 2500 Lathe
Work Sharp sharpening system
Porter Cable 895 Series Router, in shop made router table.
Rigid Oscillating Edge Belt/Spindle Sander

Sounds like a nice shop. Any chance of some photos of the shop layout?

Well, Bill, you know I’m in the neighborhood…. so anything you just don’t have room for I’d be glad to take off your hands. LOL!

Sounds great, especially the retirement in 2 years! Would love to see pictures, if possible.

Any chance you have some pics? I’d love to see what your shop looks like.

Hi Bill,

I can understand about the pictures. It is tough to find time with all the posts to review here, find some shop time and take care of the mundane things around the house that seem to conflict with our available shop time.

Your shop description sounds like you have a nice set-up.

Thanks for the post.
