Juniper Log Table with Stone Inlay Burled Cottonwood Top #3: Ready to sand the first stage of stone inlay

« Part 2: Workong on stone inlay in the burled top Part 3 of Juniper Log Table with Stone Inlay Burled Cottonwood Top series Part 4: Malachite Stone Inlay completed, table is finished »

Here is how the table looks right now. Everything is bolted together, the branch pedestal, cottonwood base and cottonwood top have been bolted together.

My husband has finished the first step in setting the stone inlay, we now need to sand down the stone so that is is smooth, then add a finer stone to fill in the gaps.

What a beautiful table this is going to be. Can’t wait to see the finished product. As usual great work.

Beautiful as always.

Thanks for the link, I was looking for some info on this process a while ago and never could find much that was usefull. This should help a bunch.
