I hate that.

Several years ago I was building a large book case with doors. The case was all together and I was making the top. I was cutting beveled edges on the table saw with the blade tilted toward the fence (dumb). After the cut, the cutoff (which was trapped between the fence and blade) came rocketting out at an amazing pace. It went right through the back panel of the book case which was sitting behind me and continued out accross the driveway and over the house next door. It still bears the mark (although I kinda transformed it into a hole for video/audio cables ;)

thanks for the concern and thanks for the encouragement Tom. Ive seen a few ideas heer on LJ that I’ll give a try to fix the problem.

Ouch! I hate it when I drop a part. I usually have to recreate it since I never seem to get a repairable break..

I hate it when that happens!!!

But it does happen. Hence the term: cabinetmaking, the fine art of fixing boo boos.
