Hi Bryano, for your first two pics, just from looking at wood online so much I would say the one on the left is Goncavo Alves , the second one with the stripes a little way down has to be ribbon striped sapele and for the one you think is Kingwood, it’s either that or quartersawn bubinga.

Oh and for the real red one with almost a stripey figure happening might be bloodwood but I have never seen bloodwood with that kind of active grain before.

Hi Bryan;

I’m thinking the top picture or the right, may be koa, but I’m not 100% sure om that.

Also the very large sheets could be Makore, but again, not certain.

I have a problem with names, but I recognize their faces.LOL

If you noticed at the picnic, all the packs of veneer were clearly marked. This isn’t so I know what’s in the box,

it’s so I know what I’m working with. (so very sad).

Maybe Karson can give us the names, he’s very good at recalling the names.

Lee

bryano-
Or this is just God’s way of telling you to buy one of the Roarockit vacuum kits and get into veneering. Man, that is an exciting haul.
Possibly a record dumpster dive (certainly right up there with Karson’s haul). I gotta start hanging out at the south end of furniture factories.

Bryan maybe we need to get together and I’ll see what I can figure out.

Maybe you could go back and ask them. The people who were so kind to leave it laying in the street for you.
