getting started, not just any box and 2x4 challenge

Blog entry by bryano posted 223 days ago 144 reads 0 times favorited 9 comments Add to Favorites

now that i am done with the wifes new shop table i can get started on the LJ challenges(a late start at that). I was recently able to salvage a long cherry 2×4. I did some math, and started my project. I will be able to enter this truePhotobucket="http://s256.photobucket.com/albums/hh183/Bryano0416/?action=view&current=100_0194.jpg" target="_blank">truePhotobucket="Photobucket">="Photobucket">project in both catigories.
this will be a challenging project as i have never worked on a box of this size with such thin strips of wood.

It’ll be interesting to see what you come up with. Gotta hurry.

the rules say one 8’ 2×4. 2” by 4” and it dosent say anything about the choice of wood. official rules are in the e-mag.

you’re right.. it doesn’t say what type of wood the 2×4 has to be.
