My workshop is a 12X24 pre fab building. I added insulation, electricity, heating and air conditioning. I’ve only had it for a year and a half. It’s already full. I got a second 8X10 building for my dust collection system and storage.

Hi Bruce,
How about posting some pictures of your shop. Visual tours of other shops are one of the enjoyable aspects of this site.

I’ve added some pictures of my shop. It’s small but a long way from the dirt floor, one car, unheated garage I used to share with the garden tractor. Major tools: Grizzly lathe, jointer and band saw. Jet table saw, Dewalt radial arm saw, Delta band saw and Hawk scroll saw.

Bruce,
You have a nice shop to work in. And you have some nice tools to play with as well. I like the idea of the wooden floor. It is much more comfortable to stand on than concrete. Plus it is wonderful to have heating and air in there.
I would like to work in a shop like this.
Thanks for the tour. I really appreciate it.

Thanks Scott. I really do like it. I spent more years than I’d care to remember on the dirt floor garage. Used a salamander when I had to work out there in the winter but still was able to get a little woodworking done.
