Hi Folks,
I just found and joined your group a little over a week ago and I’m still exploring all the wonderful things you have tucked away in the corners. I thought I would go ahead and share some pictures of my shop with y’all while I’m still looking around getting comfortable here.
I am located in a small town named Hiram which is a little NW of Atlanta, GA. My shop is 12.5 X 17.5 feet and I try to make use of every square inch the best I can. The building itself is over 100 years old and used to serve as the town firehouse back in the horse and buggy days. The building, now modified, used to house
the horse drawn fire buggy at the turn of the century and beyond. I have been working on the building and shop for over 3 years bringing it to what you now see in the pictures. It has been a long, but fun journey and I have reached the point of near completion (is that really possible?). All of my tools are on casters which allows me roll them outdoors to work when the weather permits.
Enjoy the pictures and thanks for having me with you.
Bob

yah. what does this look like when the camera isn’t on??? :)
You have turned this building into a quaint setting – both inside and out. Very inviting. I might just have to make one of my sheds look something like this.

Hi and thanks for all the nice comments. It always makes the hard work worth while when others have nice things to say about your efforts. As far as being clean and organized, I am a believer that it makes for a safer work environment. I do fuss a bit too much when it comes that subject, but I guess it is just inherient in me :)

I love that shop! It’s pathologically clean, but it’s a great layout!

Hi Bob,
Your shop is well organized and you have some nice tools to play with. The front of your shop just shouts “Come on in”.
I would enjoy working in there.
Thanks for the post.

BOB, you have done a really good job on your shop. It looks like you have used your space to its max. Some of my best projects were done in a one car garage. They weren’t the big stuff like alot of the guys do here but they were good all the same. Big is not always better in a workshop. You have come to a great place to grow in and make some really good friends. Look forward to seeing more of your work. Take care, Ed.

Now that’s a shop to be proud of a place for everything and everything in its place. Very nice shop. I especially like the coke machine in the front.
