I am 28 and I live in Lafayette, Indiana. For a paycheck, I work as an electrician and am an active member of the IBEW. At any given time I have about 5-10 projects in the works. Occasionally, I actually finish one. I've only been doing woodworking for about a year, but i really enjoy it. I think in my case, it's genetic. I come from a line of german-american carpenters(and farmers). My family used to own a cabinet shop in my hometown in the 1920's. I thought that was inspiring when I recently found out about it. I just build things for family and friends as a hobby. I can't even imagine having the skill level to make a living with woodworking. I have alot of respect for the lucky ones that can.
