I am a recently retired illustrator/graphic designer with a healthy interest in woodworking.
My hobbies are woodworking, remodeling projects and fine art (pastels).
I'm having a great time with this new chapter in my life!
Just discovered Lumberjocks and am very happy I did.

Hello Arteest,
Welcome to LJs. I hope that you will find this to be an interesting and enjoyable part of your woodworking experience
-- With God's help all things are possible- even woodworking. Woodworking is not just a hobby, it is an (expletive deleted) expensive hobby.

Welcome Gary. I used to live in Stillwell, KS up until 2006. Wife got a job op in St Louis. Being a teacher I can pretty much find my line of work anywhere. It is just the particular subject within my endorsement that will vary. Went from taking kids off site and building a house to general woodworking. Enjoyed them both, but way less stress with woodworking, especially when there is a problem with the “project”
