My current shop is an absolute blessing! It is a 60×40 dedicated shop. I had a heat pump installed so it stays toasty during the winter, and cool in the summer. I built a finishing room, for the Fuji 4 stage HVLP system. Also has a bathroom. The wife, who allows me to spend as much as I do on this hobby, was afraid that I would never come into the house once I built the shop.
Two new tools arrived on Monday. Replacements. A 5 horse Sawstop, and a Powermatic 20” planner with a Byrd cutter head. Birthday presents from the wife. Besides that, I guess the pictures tell it all. Or as least what you can see. Like most of you, this hobby is also a tool obsession.
Happy wood working my friends!!

Now this is a shop that in which I would absolutely love to work. You have it all- the space, heating/air, etc. But it is lacking one thing- a bed. So I guess you do have to go into the house every now and then. I can see that you are a Festool fan. These are great tools. And I love your Sawstop. I have one of these on my Christmas list but I guess Santa did not have a lift gate on his sleigh.
By the way you have a great wife who is obviously sensitive to your tool needs. She is very understanding woman.
Thanks for sharing.

Wow! Someday I hope to have a shop that large. You are a lucky man, a shop like that, quality tools and a woman that alows it all. Does your wife have a sister?

Must be tough to have to rough it like that, but somehow, you’ll get by ;). Great looking shop! From your other postings, it sounds like you have a unique ministry that blends splendidly with your tool obsession.

I could fit my shop inside yours and you would still have more space than I do! Looks great!

What a beautiful shop you have! Plenty of room and a lot of wonderful equipment to work with. The most important thing you have is a loving wife that supports you and your hobby. I am blessed to have a wife like that to. Have a nice evening.
God Bless
