« Part 1: start of new work using Lyptus...... Part 2 of Gamble Entry table series Part 3: It's comming along... »

next on my adventure to emulate the Greene Bros “Gamble House” Entry Table.
After laminating all the leg parts and sawing them on the band saw, I made templates of the dimensions so that I could cut matching rails and cross members the exact same size. One of my many lessons in my brief time as a wood worker … make templates and try things on scraps before cutting expensive wood.
Next I band sawed the upper and lower rails with the famous Greene and Greene cloud lift pattern.
My table has this design mirrored on the bottom as well as the top. Sanding all on the spindle sander after first hand rasping to remove all burn marks etc.

Sounds promising Bruce. BTW, I did decide to go ahead with the indentd. I just came in from cutting them. I had to adjust the jig to make them come out lower on the leg though. I’ll post pictures tomorrow.
