takes too long to load picts.

I actually load all my pics onto Flickr and then simply link to that page from here. That way I have more control over my pics. Sheesh, don’t let a thing like pictures make you throw down your mouse and quit! Looking at the projects you’ve posted, it’s clear that you have the ability to work through and overcome challenges.

Sure thing. Once I load the pic (you can ignore doing the tags if you want), I click on the picture from my photos page, and then click on “All Sizes”. Then just select the size you want (don’t choose anything larger than 500 pixels wide for LumberJocks blog entries), scroll down and highlight the address under “Grab the photo’s URL”. When you’re doing a blog entry here, just click on the button above the text box to the right of the chain links (looks like a mountain and sun). Paste the URL there and you’re done! Click on the Preview button to see if it works alright.

Send me a message offline if you need any additional Flickr help, like how to work it so someone can click on the picture to get a big size version (like you’ll see in my blog entries).

If you optimize the photos, and resize them to 500 pixels wide, you can save a lot on the file size, making the photos load much faster. If you want some help with this just let me know.
