My tool tote has been accepted for judging

Blog entry by WoodJack49 posted 70 days ago 284 reads 0 times favorited 10 comments Add to Favorites

I just received the post card today telling me that my tool tote has been accepted for judging in the Design in Wood exhibition at the San Diego County Fair this year. I missed getting it entered last year because it was already entered in the Orange County Fair’s contest and the two contests overlap each other. I have to deliver the tote on June 5th to the fairgrounds.

My tote is not a big project but, for me, it is an honor just to have it accepted for judging along with the great woodworking projects that are entered in the Design in Wood competion each year.

I apologize if this sounds like bragging. I’m just excited.

Jack,

We are excited for you as well. Good luck in the contest. But irrespective of how it comes out you are a winner already.

Well done!!! And thanks for sharing.

great job and good luck! i forget who said this but it was “you’re not bragging if you can do it!” and i don’t think that you’re bragging at all, but again you nave a great piece there and i think that it will do well at the fair.

Congratulations on becoming a juried artist! That is always exciting. Your project may be small but it is of a high caliber for sure.

Good Luck!

Than you to everyone for wishing me well. I’ll update the blog when I get the results.

Stanley – I was going to put this horse out to pasture but, send me a link to your annual show and I might run him one more time.

If my vote counted you would already get a blue ribbon. (If blue is first place. I forget).
